Thembani Luzipho (19**-) Actor.

Biography

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Has worked a lot with Brett Bailey and the Third World Bunfight company (Imumbo Jumbo and Zombi) and has travelled extensively on overseas theatre tours to England, France, Germany and Canada, also appears regularly in Artscape's productions of the Xhosa schools' set works. Played the role of Homeless Man in Jocasta Rising in 2004.

NAF 2011: Another Cape Town Edge offering, The Ogreling, a family theatre piece written by Suzanne Lebeau, directed by Yvette Hardie and featuring shadow puppetry and performances by Nonceba Constance Didi and Thembani Luzipho, also walked off with a silver Ovation Award.

Anele Russi’s iSystem (the system) is a play that boldly crosses the thin blue line in order to investigate the psyche of South Africa's police force. Written as part of the Artscape Theatre Black Playwrights' Forum, this Fatima Dike-directed production. Captain Mthobeli Vezakhe (Thembani Luzipho).
