He is the writer-director of Amper, Vrystaat, Nêrens, Noord-Kaap, Moederland as well as physical theatre piece and later shortfilm Die Maan Val Bewusteloos.

At the Fleur du Cap Awards March 2018, 35th annual awards, he won Best New Director.
