Liefde voor het Vaderland ("Love of the fatherland") is a dramatic sketch in three acts by A.A. van der Stempel Jr (fl 1860s-70s)

The original text

Though no text by this name can be found, it was probably written for the Rederijkers circa the 1870s-1880s, perhaps a local version of a dramatic sketch called Het Vaderland Roept ("the fatherland calls", a performance of which is recorded by the society Nieuw Leven in Emmen, 1919), or more likely, a version of A.A. van der Stempel's early work, Drie Lotelingen voor de Militieraad ("three conscripts before the military council"), published in Steenwijk by H. Spanjaard, 1869).
