Johann Wilhelm Stassen is a theatre historian.
Also found as J.W. Stassen.
Obtained his doctorate in 1959 from the University of the Orange Free State, with a thesis on the history of Dutch and Afrikaans theatre and drama in South Africa dfrom 1801-1955.
