Margaret Harradine is a cultural researcher and until her retirement was the Africana Librarian of the Port Elizabeth City Libraries.
In 1995 she published a book called Port Elizabeth: A Social Chronicle to the End of 1945. (Port Elizabeth: E.H. Walton Packaging (Pty) Ltd.) In 2004 she published Hills Covered with Cottages. Port Elizabeth's Lost Streetscapes. (Port Elizabeth: Historical Society of Port Elizabeth.)
