Margaret Harradine is a cultural researcher and until her retirement, was the Africana librarian at the main Port Elizabeth library.
In 1995 she published a book called Port Elizabeth: A Social Chronicle to the End of 1945. (Port Elizabeth: E.H. Walton Packaging (Pty) Ltd.) In 2004 she published Hills Covered with Cottages. Port Elizabeth's Lost Streetscapes. Published by the Historical Society of Port Elizabeth.
