Freddy Schweitzer was a jazz saxophonist, clarinet player and actor.

Biography

Freddy Schweitzer was a jazz saxophonist, clarinet player during the golden age of British dance bands and actor, known for Say It with Music (1932), She Shall Have Music (1935) and Band Waggon (1940).

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

1957: Played in Stanley Nathan's cabaret production at the City Hall, Port Elizabeth, Tickle the Kitty which celebrated 50 years of the South African Bowls Tournament in Port Elizabeth.
