P.W. Keytel (fl. 1850-1890) was a Dutch speaking citizen of Cape Town, and an amateur actor.

Biography

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He may have been the person simply listed by Groom as Mr Keytel among the members of the Dutch society Tot Nut en Vermaak in Cape Town between 1843 and 1857 (another candidate for this, also from Aurora II, is J. Keytel)

He was definitely a member of and actor for the Cape Town based rederijkerskamer called Aurora II (1866-1887).
