W.F. Stamrood (fl. 1860-1890) was a Dutch speaking citizen of Cape Town, and an amateur actor.

Biography

He was born in Holland, but had settled in Cape Town.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

A member of the Paarl rederijkerskamer called Aurora I and later a founding member of the Cape Town based Aurora II (1866-1887).
