Scribble
Scribble is a South African musical, crfeated by Jervis Pennington.
The story concerns some of the losers of our world and Basil's Ballroom, where they congregate to wait for that one miracle that might change their lives forever.
Performance history in South Africa
1996: Started out at The Mixer Theatre, Mellville, Johannesburg.
1998: It was performed in the Unisa Little Theatre (Pretoria), starring Brendan Grealy, Sello Sebotsane, Matthew Stewardson, Karin van der Laag, Chantal Nativel, Graham Clarice, Lesego Motsepe. Music composed by Jervis Pennington, muisical director Saranti Reeders, choreographer Timothy Bellew, set design by Stan Knight. The production then moved to the Tesson Theatre.
