izi- This is a lower-case prefix used in Nguni languages (e.g. izibongi, izimbongi, sb. For the purposes of this publication we shall use the traditianally used European spelling, which does away with the prefix, simply because it makes it easier to alphebeticise. (see also isi-, si-, and *) ?CHECK!*
