The Sailor and His Bottle is the title of a dance,

Possibly a dance devised by Mr Cuerton, a former performing artist from London, possibly a singing and dance teacher in Cape Town.

Performance history in South Africa

1813: Performed by Mr Cuerton's company, in association with the Garrison Players in the African Theatre, Cape Town in 6 November, 1813, as accompaniment to their presentation of the pantomime Robinson Crusoe, or Harlequin Friday.
