The Curfew is a play in five acts by John Tobin (1770 – 1804)[ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Tobin_(dramatist)]

The original text

First performed at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane on 19 February 1807. Published by Richard Philips in London in 1807.

1829: Performed) by the English Theatrical Amateur Company in The African Theatre, Cape Town on 3 October, with Killing No Murder (Hook). (In the programme The Curfew is listed as having been written by "Tobois".)
