L'Astronome, an opéra-comique in 2 acts by Jean-Louis Brousse-Desfaucherets (1742-1808)[1], with music by Louis-Sébastien Lebrun (1764-1829)[2].

The title De l'Astronomanie appears in F.C.L. Bosman (1928: p. 92), with no author given. However, it is most probably a wrongly cited reference to this play. It may have been an adaptation

The original text

It was first performed in Paris at the Théâtre Feydeau on 21 November, 1798.
