The Sultan, or A Peep into the Seraglio is a farce in two acts by Isaac Bickerstaffe (1735-1812).


The original play

Based on Solyman le Second from the Contes Moraux by J. F. Marmontel, the play was acted at the Theatres Royal in Drury-Lane and Covent-Garden. Published in London by fC. Dilly,1787.
