The dedication signed: "Susanna Cent Livre".
First acted at the Theatre Royal in Drury-Lane by Her Majesty's servants, 1714. Published in London, printed for E. Curll, and A. Bettesworth, 1714.
Performance history in South Africa
1823: Performed on 6 December by the English Theatricals in the African Theatre, Cape Town with Three Weeks after Marriage (Murphy) as afterpiece.
1824: Repeated on 26 January by the English Theatricals in the African Theatre, Cape Town again with Three Weeks after Marriage (Murphy) as afterpiece.
