Miss Williams
(17?-18?) Professional actress who, with three other visiting professionals from the Theatre Royal, Liverpool - Mr Cooke, Mrs Cooke and Mrs Brough - performed in semi-professional plays with the Gentlemen Amateurs) during the 1818 season at the Cape.

She was apparently primarily a tragedienne, and roles specifically mentioned included a lead in The Honey Moon (Tobin) and "Agatha Friburg" in Lovers' Vows.
On the 24th October the company held a benefit performance for Miss Williams, doing Othello and The Poor Soldier. The English performers and Miss Williams left the Cape for Calcutta and a tour of the East after their final performance on 21 November 1818.
