Dr Bolus is "a Serio-Comick-Bombastick-Operatick Interlude", by George Daniel (1789-1864)[1]

The original text

First performed in London at the English Opera House (afterwards The Lyceum), July 21, 1818. The piece was printed soon after its performance, and went through two editions.
