Actress, cabaret and revue artist. Studied drama at the University of the Witwatersrand ???/Cape Town???, but made a name for herself in cabaret and musical theatre. Began at venues like No 58, Hillbrow, under the watchful eye of Barbara Thompson. Also performed for Pieter Toerien Productions. Roles include "Sister Amnesia" in Nunsense (Fleur du Cap Theatre Award, Best Actress, 1988), *** NORMINGTON, Kate. She starred in Kevin Feather’s production of Tarts at the La Parisienne in 1986. She starred in Tobie Cronje’s production of Nunsense at the Alhambra in 1988. She starred in Lerner and Louwe’s Camelot at the State Theatre in 1989. She starred in Romance, Romance under Geoffrey Sutherland’s direction in 1990. She starred in My Fair Lady at the State Theatre in 1990. She starred in A Touch of Webber, A Taste of Rice at the Sound Stage from 1991 to 1992. She starred in Janice Honeyman’s production of Hair at the Civic in 1994.
