Mr Gleadowe (1788-18**) was an officer in the Cape Town Garrison and a member of the English Theatricals in the early 1800s.

He is only mentioned once, in a prologue, written and delivered by Captain Collins during a performance of The Brothers (Cumberland) and High Life Below Stairs (Townley) on 10 October, 1807, where he names a number active performers who had become part of the group in the year(s) preceding 1807.
