A free Dutch translation by M.G. Engelman of the 18th century one-act play Die Eroberung von Sant Lucia.

The original text and translations

It would seem the play was originally a French one act comedy by an unknown author. Translated into German as Die Eroberung von Sant Lucia by an anonymous author and published 1871, it was subsequently translated from the German into Dutch as Charlotte Blandford, of De Wedergevonden Vader by M.G. Engelman, and published in 1799 by H. van Kesteren, Amsterdam.
