(19**-) Actor and later well-known Stellenbosch restauranteur. * His stage roles included The Guise and The Resistable Rise of Arturo UI at The Space in the 1970s, Jan de Kock in Die Ryk Weduwee, CAPAB, 1976, **, ***. Left acting to start his famous gourmet restaurant Ralph’s in Stellenbosch in the 1980s.
