Biography
He sailed for England in 1967
Training
Studied Drama at the University of Cape Town Drama Department, graduated 196*. Subsequently he studied at the Old Vic Theatre School.
Career
He began his career with the Royal Opera Ballet, Covent Garden, in Berlioz's The Trojans. He followed this with the London production of Hair at the Shaftesbury Theatre. He then left for the classics and contemporary playwrights in repertory theatres. Plays and parts included Narrow Road to the Deep North (Edward Bond), Pride and Prejudice, A Collier's Friday Night. He worked for BBC-TV including the series The Regiment. He appeared in Evita at the Prince Edward Theatre, London West End, 1978.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
In South Africa he worked in revue work for Adam Leslie, PACT and several productions for SABC Television. His creation, Countess Coral von Reefenhausen, entertains and educates corporations through industrial theatre .
