Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
For a while a member of Vlyt en Kunst in Cape Town in 1834-35, responsible for ticket sales. Then later in November 1835 appeared to have switched loyalties and joined Kunst en Smaak in the same capacity.
F.C.L. Bosman (1928) states (p.323) that he appeared in Clasius, of Het Proces om een Komedie-lootje (Boniface), on 19 July 1834, but on page 328 prints the cast list, which only contains the young man H. Ley.
