Female Orgasm Escapes from the Zoo by Italian actor-playwright, comedian, singer, theatre director, stage designer, songwriter and political campaigner, and recipient of the 1997 Nobel Prize in Literature, Dario Fo (born 1926) & his wife, the Italian theatre actress, playwright and political activist Franca Rame (1929-2013). Dark and grotesque, this one-woman show attacks the domestic violence crisis in South Africa with one of the most lethal weapons known to humankind: laughter.
