The play focuses on the lives of nine black women in the Maximum Security prison at Middelburg, each with a tale to tell. Presented by the Windybrow Centrre for the Arts at the National Arts Festival, 1997. Directed by Duma Ka-Ndlovu, stage manager Mpho Mataboge. The cast:Mary Twala, Thandi Zulu, Nomhle Nkonyeni, Baby Cele, Lindiwe Chibi, Suthukazi Arosi, Vanessa Jansen, Abigail Kubheka. (Source: National Arts Festival programme, 1997).
