(17**-18**) Possibly a professional actor who, on his way to Mauritius or the East, who stopped at Cape Town to perform on two occasions. He appears to have been greatly admired, and productions in which he featured could command far higher admission-prices than normal. He also appears to have been an actor of the highest versatility, judging from the variety of parts he played (including five different roles in one night!)

The first mention is 29 October 1803-4, when he did a number of shows. Apparently versatile he would play two or three roles a night. On 12 August 1804 he did the clown in Arlequin Protege par Belphegor at the African Theatre.

The next mention is in 1805-06, when he did a whole season.
