Warwick Grier

GRIER, Warwick. (19*-) Actor and director. Born in **. Studied at University of Cape Town **. Roles include "Barry" in The Open Couple (Fleur du Cap Theatre Award, Best Actor 2000), ** Warrick Grier graduated from U.C.T. in the late 90’s before working in Johannesburg for several years. He studied further under Msr. Jacques LeCoq (R.I.P.). After completing his Diploma at the Lecoq school in Paris, he was based in Barcelona as Artistic Director of Bantam Theatre. After several years in Europe he returned to South Africa, specifically Cape Town, to finally settle down. He has acted in, directed and written many plays and films, and has garnered numerous national and international awards for his work.
