JOSEPH, Alan. (19**-) Actor, director and arts manager. ***** In 19** he became head of the Johannesburg Civic Theatre and in 19**/200* head of PACT. *** Chief executive of the Johannesburg Civic Theatre. From *** to ***. Active 1994. John Kani and Winston Ntshona revived The Island at the Market Theatre in June 1977 and Joseph stage managed. He became General Manager of the Market and later chief executive officer of PACT.
