(“The Quiet Hearth”) by H.A. Fagan. A comedy in three acts which satirises literary inspiration and literature studies at universities. First performed by K.A.T. in November 1944, directed by Anna Viljoen. Jim Retief in the lead role, Helena Louw, Gallie Muller, Irma du Plessis, Gilliam van Niekerk, Sappie Botha. Published in 1945 in the collection Twee Blyspele (“Two Comedies”).
