Michelle Botes

(1962- ) South African actress for stage and screen. Born in Cape Town and went to Stellenbosch University and the University of Cape Town, graduating with a Performer's Diploma in Speech and Drama (Bilingual) and a Teaching Diploma. Began as a member of the CAPAB Youth Group, Touring the Cape provice presenting literature through Library Tours. Stage roles in Minnaar onder die Wapen (Windhoek, 1987), James Whyle’s Hellhound (Upstairs at the Market, 1992), *. Became a houshold name through her roles in TV series like Arende (198*), Isidingo (1998-2007) and Binnelanders (2007-).
