Deur ‘n Skrefie, Afrikaans translation and adaptation by Leonie Pienaar of The Starlight Express (1915), coauthored by Algenon Blackwood (1869-1951) and Violet Pearn; incidental music by Edward Elgar; based on Blackwood's 1913 novel A Prisoner in Fairyland. Produced by Pienaar with students of the University of Cape Town Department of speech-training and dramatic art in the Little Theatre. Ballet students under the direction of Dulcie Howes also took part.
