(17**-18**) Possibly a member of Vlyt en Kunst. Mr Poortemans was a participant in a Cape Town production of a Dutch production of Duval's Montoni by Vlyt en Kunst on 10 September 1836. As an interlude he offered a "zeer prachtig Transparant" ("a very beautiful transparency").
