JOHAARDIEN, Ashraf. (19*-) Award winning published playwright and poet. His first play was Coloured Son X and was produced at the Baxter Theatre in 1998 and published in a volume of plays entitled 2+2 Plays in 2000. The Circle East Theatre Company in New York also showcased the play in 2001. His second play Salaam Stories is a winner of the inaugural Spier/PANSA Festival held at the Spier Estate in 2002.
