Among the plays she performed in were Tennessee Williams’s The Glass Menagerie, directed by Leonard Schach (NTO, 1949), ** As a director she did James Ambrose Brown’s The Three Wishes (CTI, 1954), **. She co-wrote a history of the Johannesburg Reps with her husband Arthur Hoffmann (They Built a Theatre: The Story of the Johannesburg Repertory Society, Ad Donker: 1980).
