The original text
The play tells the story of Molly, who - having escaped a child marriage - arrived in the town of Chiredzi in southern Zimbabwe in the 1960s. There she worked as a sex worker until Molly’s boyfriend murders her in a jealous rage. According to the townsfolk Molly's spirit returned and has walked through the streets of Chiredzi ever since. When the town council renames a street "Molly Street", the play asks: is everyone happy?

2024: Performed at the Market Theatre as part of the Kaza Kamba Pan African Theatre Festival, directed by directed by Peter Churu, with a cast that included Chidochangu Jo Anne Tenga and musician Patrick Tembo.
