Marie Koeleman
Marie Koeleman (1941-2017) was an actress.
Biography
Elizabeth Marie Koeleman was born in Lydenburg (Mashishing), Mpumalanga on 28 August 1941. She was the daughter of Henry Victor Emil Koeleman and his wife, Maria Elizabeth Coetser. In the early 1970s she became a member of the PACT Youth Theatre Group and all her theatrical appearances seem to have been for this organisation. For some she also handled the musical arrangements and in addition she wrote Afrikaans children’s plays such as Die Wenner, Dino en die Wiel, Die Fopkombersie and Ai, Sies tog Sarel. Her stage work all dates from this period, though during the eighties she made a few film and television appearances. She died on 27 April 2017.
