Cornelia Johanna Wagner was an amateur actress.
A farmer's daughter from the Humansdorp district in the Eastern Cape, she was a student in Stellenbosch, where she played the lead in a production of D.F. Malherbe's play Koringboere. In 1925 she married the director of the play, J.F.W. Grosskopf's.
