Kwaito

Lwaito (derived from the Afrikaans word "Kwaai", in the sense of "hot", this particular musical form emerged in the 1990s as a particular type of music that derives its rhythms and words from the myriad of cultures in South Africa, largely as a blend of seSotho, isiZulu, English, and Afrikaans lyrics.
