A play by Zakes Mda. Set in Lesotho during the 1970 State of Emergency. Written in 1991 while writer-in-residence at the University of Durham.
Originally a TV script broadcast by the BBC World Service in 1992.
Premiéred as a stage play at the Civic Theatre in 1995, directed by Jerry Mofokeng.
First published in Four Plays, Zakes Mda (ed.), Johannesburg: Vivlia Publishers, 1996. Also published by Human & Rousseau.
