Nellie du Toit (1929-2018) is a well-known South African soprano.

Biography

Nellie studied drama under Leonard Schach and Rosalie van der Gucht in Cape Town. The drama training was useful in her work as an opera singer.

She died in Stellenbosch in August 2018.
