Die Vuurvoël is a contemporary dance musical and marionettes play.

Die Vuurvoël

was created by Janni Younge previously director of the Handspring Puppet Company and IMG Artist International Productions, will tour to Philadelphia, Washington, Chicago, Sun Valley, Los Angeles and Saratoga, New York. The original music of Igor Stravinsky were used. Birrie le Roux was responsible for the costumes, Mannie Manim the lightening and choreography by Jay Pather. In 2014 she started her own company Janni Younge Productions.

Performance history in South Africa

Die Vuurvoël was performed in Artscape. Janni Younge also won a Fleur de Cap award in 2012 for the design of the puppets in Ouroboros.
