Holding Aloof is a one-act play by David Dainow (1884-1961).
The play deals with the intricacies of being a Jew in a predominantly Christian society and was twice performed as a play reading, first by the Johannesburg Jewish Guild and then by the Johannesburg Repertory Play Reading Society.
