Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
While stationed at the Cape with the 95th Regiment of the British forces, he seems to have particpated in productions by the garrison, noted to some extent for his comic abilities.
He and a few other members, helped out with productions by Charles Fraser (1859-1866) and probably E.C. de Jocelyn Harvey (1858).
