Biography
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
He was a member of the short lived Phoenix Dramatic Club, in Cape Town in 1865, and is mentioned as a performer in the club's first presentation, on 27 June, 1865 in the Theatre Royal, when he played one of the three leads in The Irish Attorney, or Galway Practice () and thereafter giving a Christy's style performance as afterpiece, partnered by Mr Angelo.
