Biography
Born Aaron Arthur Ferguson in Gaborone, Botswana,
He was married to actress and producer Connie Ferguson and the couple have two daughters, one from Connie’s previous marriage.
Ferguson passed away on 30 July 20921 due to COVID-19 related complications.

He became affectionately known as “Uncle Sho” in the media industry, .
He acted in a number of productions including The Queen and The Kings of Joburg..
Ferguson Films
He and Connie founded Ferguson Films, a company that made drama series and telenovelas for Mzansi Magic, which included The Queen, Rockville, The Wild, iGazi and The Imposter, and the Netflix series Kings of Joburg.
In June 2021, shortly before Shona's death, Ferguson Films announced the launch of its acting academy.
