Jean Meiring (19**-)is an academic, lawyer, author, arts critic and playwright
He studied for a post graduate degree in law at Cambridge University, where he later also lectured.
Returning to South Africa, he became a member of the Johannesburg Bar.
Over the years he has contributed articles, reviews and other commentary to a wide range of media in South Africa, including reviews and articles for LitNet. .
