Coenie Slabber (1939?-2021) journalist, arts editor and playwright.

He became a prominent media and arts figure, between 1970 and 1990, who held a number of senior positions with Rapport and Die Republikein, becoming a celebrates arts critic and columnist, inter alia serving as Arts Editor for Rapport.
He passed away om 19 Januarie 2021 at his home in Blouberg Strand
