The Pilgrim of Love is a play in one act by Henry J. Byron (1835-1884)[1].

Also known as The Pilgrim of Love! and styled "A Fairy Romance".

The original text

First performed in London at the Theatre Royal, Haymarket, 9 April 1860 and published by Thomas Hailes Lacy in the same year.

Performance history in South Africa

1875: Performed as The Pilgrim of Love in the Bijou Theatre, Cape Town, by Disney Roebuck and company on 13 and 15 March, with Catherine Howard (Dumas/Suter).

1875: Performed by Disney Roebuck and his company in the Bijou Theatre, Cape Town, on 15 April, with East Lynne (Wood).
