The Girl Behind the Counter is a musical farce by Leedham Bantock ()[] and Arthur Anderson ()[], with music by Howard Talbot ()[].
It opened at Wyndham's Theatre on 21 April 1906, and ran for 141 performances in the original London production. An adaptation ("freely adapted and reconstructed by Edgar Smith") ran on Broadway in 1907–08. [
